These months it has become incredibly difficult to produce any new creative work. The volunteering is consuming the major share of the time previously designated to personal projects and creative growth. I have managed to produce some commercial projects in October, but the whole November was consumed by yet another family emergency. I came back home (broken and disheartened) to discover that right before I left to Ukraine, I have started an illustration as a reflection on the NewYorker piece titled "The Problem of Marital Loneliness". I have completely forgotten about it during my travels. The article compares the Bergman's series perspective to Levi's HBO version. I mainly focused on a feminine perspective. It is peculiar how relevant the theme remains regardless the major life-changing events.
